Loved History of Violence, the way everything played out smoothly with no dragging or side story garbage... loved it! Didn't see Domino but I'll be buying History of Violence the day it's released on DVD (and I'll have to watch that great headshot in slow-mo).

Anyone have any word on when A History of Violence will be released on DVD? I'm dying to see it, but I know it won't come to theaters in my area.

I really enjoyed History of Violence - in particular I loved the audience's reaction. The theatre was fairly full and there were lots of guys-guys - (frat boys, etc) who seemed to think this was going to be a regular "bruce willis" action flick. What I loved about this was the subtle squirming that was going on as the film kept twisting and turning our expectations - every time there was a burst of enjoyable violence, then the film would make you feel guilty or dirty for enjoying it. Freaking brilliant. Cronenberg back in form in my opinion.
