New Indie Film project: The Yellow Feather!

My name is Josh Thompson and I am one of the members of The Yellow Feather street team. Our goal is to get the word out and fund a Kickstarter campaign about an amazing project entitled The Yellow Feather from the creative minds of Lucas and Lincoln Smith.

The Yellow Feather is about an orphaned young girl, Clara and younger brother, Rafi who are shipwrecked in 16th Century Guatemala with a small group of survivors led by a priest and a fierce conquistador, Raul. Clara witnesses the cruelty of the Spanish as they abuse the native Mayans. The group then find themselves face to face with a being that forces Clara to make life-altering decisions.

This is a project that everyone involved with feels very passionate about and we are looking for others to help us make the vision of both Lucas and Lincoln a reality. That’s what The Yellow Feather is. It’s passion. It’s the dream project that's very personal. It’s the culmination of decades worth of experience, unabridged, and without the interference of the studios. This film has everything! It has tremendous cultural and historical significance, it has great FX, it has horror, and best of all, it is an original story, which is sorely lacking in a lot of today's works that you see. It is a very important project for all of these reasons and more!

Many of the people involved on the street team were also involved with the recently funded film Harbinger Down with actor Lance Henriksen. That film not only met its goal on Kickstarter, but exceeded and became the number #1 funded film ever on Kickstarter in its category. Harbinger Down is now completed and will be released in a limited theatrical release later this year.

We have proven that our street team has the drive and the initiative to make this happen for The Yellow Feather. We are reaching out to you to help us get the word out.
