Smile Dracula II

I watched Wes Craven presents Dracula II : Ascension, now I had doubt about this movie. I liked Dracula 2000 alright and all but I didn't love it. I did like the idea that Judus was where Dracula got his start. I really liked this movie, Jason Scott Lee is a great vampire slayer. They left it open for a part 3, I hope it will be as good as this.

Well this should be in the modern folder...maybe AMK will move it...

ANYWHO....i saw the first one and wasnt really impressed at all... i though it was a bit corny and lackluster...the only thing cool that i liked was, like you said, the judas tie in....

But im spoiled with Gary Oldman and Bram Stoker's, my all time favorite now.....

Dracula 2 was a bad movie.

I liked the first one, and thought the whole Judas tie-in was good.

However for the "sequel" they went with a different actor and everything, and seemed to just dump the original movie's story. I considered it nothing more than a knock-off of the first movie. Suggest avoiding Dracula 2.

Much the same with John Carpenter's Vampires....

i've been avoiding this movie at blockbuster and it looks like i've had good judgement... i liked dracula 2000... and john carpenter's vampires... but i made the mistake of seeing part of john carpenters vampires: los muertos on starz and i hated it... worst part is with this "so and so presents" movies.. most the time that person had nothing to very little to with the movie... like wes craven presents They... had nothing to do with it... so i guess i won't be watching dracula II
