Something Original. Not Even Entirely Original, (Like House of 1000 Corpses. Yes, It was heavily influenced by TCSM, but it is still one of my all time fave horror flicks. It had good atmosphere and a decent story line as far as horror goes. It wasn't completely original, but it was very entertaining)
We are in dire need of a new horror icon, someone worthy of spawning a mass of sequels (good sequels at that). Use of unknown actors in a movie in hopes of actually having some good actors/actresses. Hollywood is too wrapped up in getting the big names to appear in hopes of upping the monetary gross of shitty movies, but in the end, they ALL fail to deliver. The influx of new horror movies and remakes is getting sad. They're all rated PG-13 now which equates into a whole lotta made for TV crap. I want to see something rated R or NC-17 or something. That way we know we're getting quality horror entertainment rather than some crappy, we're trying so hard to be scary shit. I just want good horror I guess. Something that reminds me of the days when horror movies were actually worth watching.
