I think I read one...long time ago.
It may be my faulty memory or it was very um....new age vampire?
I may be wrong, read the first 3 chapters of #1 and tell me-I'm curious now.

I read all of them a few years ago, and enjoyed them quite a bit. He recently had a new one come out and so I went and bought all of them again and plan on re-reading them in the next year or so. To answer your question, most of his stuff is MAJORLY lovecraftian, some of it good, some of it kind of cheese, but his Necroscope series is great and well worth reading.

Here ya go

Necroscope
Vamphyri
The Source
Deadspeak
Deadspawn

That's the first five books that make up one whole part of the series.

Then there is the Vampire World segment of the series.

Blood Brothers
The Last Aerie
Bloodwars

Then he wrote two books that go back to the first five books of the series, I think they take place in between Deadspeak and Deadspawn but I'm not sure

The Lost Years Volume one
The Lost Years Volume Two

Then there is the E-Branch part of the series
Invaders
Defilers
Avengers

Then there's a book with some short stories in it that kind of go back to the first five books.
Harry Keogh and other Weird Heroes

Then there is the new one called Necroscope: The Touch, which I haven't read yet and don't know much about it.

They are all worth reading though and they all do fit in with each other and have the same characters mostly.

You for sure need to at least get the fifth book, because it's directly involved with the fourth book and the ones before it.

they are about vampires .. but with a bit of a twist from what i've read here and there.

a 'necroscope' is someone who communicates with the dead or something like that ..

from what i can gather, there is one in russia and another in the UK - sort of a cold war (emphasis on the word cold)

god damn ..

i should probably reserve this judgement until the end but i think i've read enough to make a couple of observations.

this guy does try to emmulate lovecraft.
he is dry, completely avoids any attempt at humor, and his prose is a dry as old cardboard.

he does not have the same command of the english language as lovecraft. lovecraft wrote in a time were certain words were used to provide colour - words that arent used today - or if they are - sound pompous and absurd.

he pads his novel with so much non essential and uninteresting information that it's painful. because of his lack of style and passion it doesnt add depth. it feels like a kid who's trying to desperately increase the word count to reach the minimum in an english essay - after he's run out of ideas.

I'll see it to the end .. i'll even go on to the next book to see if he improves .. but i'm sure not impressed by this one.
