THE DEAD ZONE

Definitely. One of my favorites . . . .

I love the tragic tone of the story. Very sad, more-so than "scary."

Liked it but thought it was way too padded, even for a King novel. Most King fans like it a lot, though, and King himself is exceptionally proud of it. I think it would have been best served as a novella.

I liked it but there were others I liked better.

Excellent but it's one of those that kinda veered off on a more thriller tangent. I kinda prefer the more obviously horror types.

Good book but not one of his best, certainly thought-provoking though.

I thought The Dead Zone was his best book. The Stand would have been better if it wasn't so drug out. Salem's Lot wasn't scary in the slightest, and I couldn't even finish IT. It shouldn't take 250 pgs just to develop the characters.
