Very pleased to announce that "Deadbeat at Dawn" has found it's new home with the impeccable Arrow Films, slated for a 4K transfer from the original A&B rolls (supervised by me) and a long overdue Bluray release on it's 30th anniversary.

The rumours are true… DEADBEAT AT DAWN is heading to Arrow Video in 2018 to coincide with the films 30th anniversary!

We are so excited to confirm that we’ve picked up Jim Van Bebber’s cult classic for the UK and US and if that wasn’t enough, Jim will be working with us on the release!

We are still in the early stages of this project so haven’t set a release date just yet however if you have any questions for Jim about the film let us know via the comments below and we’ll do our best to get these answered on the disc.

Off to do the new commentary for Arrow's "Deadbeat at Dawn" with gang rival Danny Carmodi himself, actor Paul Harper.

UK/US/CA TITLE: Deadbeat at Dawn (Blu-ray)

Jim VanBebber’s notorious, blood-drenched cult classic Deadbeat at Dawn rises again on the advent of its 30th anniversary, newly restored for the first time on Blu-ray!

Pre-order in the UK via Arrow: http://bit.ly/2K1Tio6
Pre-order in the US via DiabolikDVD: http://bit.ly/2K1STlB
Release dates 22/23 October

Jim VanBebber’s notorious, blood-drenched cult classic Deadbeat at Dawn rises again on the advent of its 30th anniversary, newly restored for the first time on Blu-ray. Locked and loaded with a raft of new extras, see Deadbeat as you’ve never seen it before – in all its head-busting, bone-crushing glory!

Written by, directed by and starring VanBebber, Deadbeat follows the story of Goose – a gang leader whose girlfriend is brutally slaughtered when he attempts to leave the thug life behind. Pulled back into the gang, who’ve now formed an uneasy alliance with the thugs that butchered his girl, Goose sees an opportunity to exact his brutal, deadly revenge.

The very definition of DIY, independent filmmaking (VanBebber quit film school after his first year and used his student loan to fund the movie), Deadbeat at Dawn surpasses its low-budget origins to create a revenge movie that delivers more thrills and bloody spills than all of Chuck Norris’ films combined.
