Never be scared to say you don't like a movie!-I've got into trouble slagging off "untouchable" movies before-some people react like you've committed a crime-it's happening less though.

True.

I'm honest in saying that whilst I don't hate them, I've never understood why so many slasher films get such love. Friday The 13th and Nightmare On Elm Street are far from my favourites.

They are not my faves either but I do really like them-for me it is the atmosphere (in NOES parts 1 and 3 plus FT13th parts 1, 2 and 4) and excellent villainry characterization that I like. But I do see where you are coming from in disliking them.

There's nothing wrong with your copy of Suspiria, it's this cunt that's the problem.

Suspiria is a masterpiece!

The haunting atmosphere and the colors splashed across the screen...chilling.

Nothing wrong with not liking Suspiria, it's widely regarded as one of the great Italian horror films, but everyone is different.

My favorite Argento film has always, and will always be Phenomena. But as others have said, check out some of his other works. He has a very distinct style that lends a surreal/nightmarish quality to his films. Inferno, Tenebrae, Opera, Mother of Tears, Profondo Russo ( Deep Red ), all of these are great movies to check out and, if nothing else, any movie with GOBLIN doing the soundtrack is worth at least listening too.
