The Seventh Victim (1943)

A superb character study and a terrifying glance into the subkect of temptation. Not Lewton's finest by any means, but certainly up there.

The Dark - Great acting, beautiful scenery and cinematography, great idea, slightly weak script, and the ending...arggh! If you watch it, just pretend the last minute doesn't exist and you'll be happier in the long run. Reminded me of Silent Hill. Totally different film, but the mother rescuer, the dark/light worlds, and religious psychos all touched the other.

Oh God! I couldn't finish this one. It's so well rendered, but the script! Oh, the script! I'd feel less preached-at if I went to a 24/7 church service for a full month.

If we're speaking of Amityville II: The Possesion, I find the flick terrifying, and horribly underrated.
