Mortal Kombat
After watching the little mini film floating around the net over the last couple of weeks I decided to check this out again. It had a few cool moments but yeh I still think it sucks. I hope this gets a reboot because that clip of what they were intending to do looks awesome. Blood and Bone This ruled. Best action flick I've seen in ages. Repo! The Genetic Opera Wasn't sure what I'd think of this but I actually really enjoyed it and thought it was pretty sharp. Doesn't really deserve the savaging it got in a lot of reviews. |

Grotesque was OK. Started off promising, first 3/4 were good. Became just another same old, same old though towards the end. Made a change that the man was treated worse than the woman. But The idea of testing love's boundaries-even if fruitless was refreshing.

Survival of the Dead
Not quite one of Romero's best, but if you look at the past few movies he's released, this one wasn't bad at all. I'm not going to spoil anything, but if you decide to watch it, keep your expectations low.

Daybreakers (2009). With incredible production value, wonderful acting, and some pretty splendid effects, this turned out to be a disappointment. What really killed it was its portrayal of a rather smart horror flick whose foundations were based on a rather cyclopean plot hole. Then there was that ending, which almost threatened to redeem itself only to be ruined with a shot. Still worth a look, though. Ashe.
