Peter Jennings died... :(

Just saw this breaking news...Peter Jennings died at home. He was 67...not sure if anybody cares, but it really caught me by surprise :( The article said he lost his battle with lung cancer.

Anyway, it's just kind of sad...thought I'd share. I guess you just get so used to seeing somebody in the public eye your whole life, that it's kind of shocking when they're gone...like any death at all I suppose... :(

Thanks MM, I was hoping he would beat it.:(
Me too. It's really very sad, and my prayers will also be with his family. I hope that in my lifetime, a cure for cancer is discovered...its taken way too many people that I love away from me too soon...and obviously it affects just about everyone in some way or another. :(

I liked him too nine...he was a real class act, that's for sure.
I read that he logged over 60 hours in a week covering the 9/11 attacks...that's dedication.

I am not a big fan of Jennings but he was way too young.

Moms boyfriend, asshole that he was, died of lung cancer last year.

You find out about it and 6 months later youre taking a dirt nap. Nasty shit and it moves quickly.
