Vincent Price

He is a true genius of horror films. He is fairly underrated considering he has starred in hundreds of horrors. In my opinion, he is just as good as Boris Karloff and Bela Lugosi, the more popular legends.

My favourite movie of his would have to be The Abominable Dr. Phibes, or House of Wax, both are truly brilliant

What are your thoughs on this actor? What are you favourite movies of his?

I wouldn't call him underrated. I think Price is one of the few genre actors who actually gets the credit he so richly deserves. Favorite film: House of Wax or Last Man on Earth.

Last man on earth is great, but i never hear much about Vincent Price, and none of my friends have heard of him, but thats mainly cause they aren't really into horror like I am, but i guess your right, to a true horror fan hes brilliant.

He received critical success too, and that's a rarity in the genre.

Laura

Vincent Price starred in a 1944 movie with Gene Tierney and He was a heartthrob--Supposedly, but also he was suspected of murder.
The title of the movie was "Laura", It was adapted from the book of the same name by Vera Caspary.
While the book may not exactly qualify as Horror, A shotgun blast in the face provided quite a bit of gore.
I've never seen the movie on VHS or DVD, but on occasion is shows up on late night TV.
