Watched Below today. I wasn't expecting much, but it was actually pretty good. It's directed by David Twohy, who also made Pitch Black and (gag) Chronicles of Riddick. Too bad he didn't stay on this path.

He also made Thomas Crown Affair and Sphere so you might be right about him trying to be clever but what's wrong with that exactly?

I surely don't want to see something from someone who wants everybody to say ''Wow, that was really stupid.''

or from someone who wants everybody to say ''wow that was clever'' but doesn't get the job done. And you have to admit it is somewhat clever...I mean Jessica Simpson surely couldn't have thought of it.
