Hello,


Since i was a young kid Horror movies has been a big interest of mine. I've seen pretty much everything and i'm going to put up a sick horror movie list for you guys just too see if someone has something that might be interesting for me. I'm not "rating" the most sick movie ever but im just gonna do a list.

Then there are those movies people think is scary like "saw,hostel,bunnygame, paranormal activity etcetc" Does doesn't fall into the category as horrifying and terrifying enough to be in the list actually. In the horror/gore genre there are many good movies too i'd like to discuss but i'm just trying to find movies that will blow my mind atm. He means you should take a look at the sticky threads at the top of this forum. They're really quite easy to see.

Interesting lists! I notice though that you have mostly seen films made within the last 20-30 years. Go back quite a ways farther into the films of the past and you will find much entertainment and enlightenment in the subtler breed of horror, the type that allows you to exercise your imagination.

For example, the original "13 Ghosts" is something I much, much, MUCH prefer to the remake "Thir13en Ghosts" with its hip stylish title misspelling. In fact, go check out as many William Castle films as you can! There is fun to be had there too.

Yeah i've seen many old horror movies and i can understand what you mean. The original Thirteen ghosts hm haven't seen that one. Ok i might just do that :)

The list i have posted isn't the "complete list" i have many more that i think is good and that i think is sick, but haven't had time to add all of them.

I'm surprised that some of the more "mainstream" horror movies (Alien, ...) didn't make that list.

I was however mighty pleased to see some of my all time favorites there, like the "Hitcher" (the '86 original with Rudger Hauer, not the remake of '07 with Sean Bean).

Like the OP, I'm kind of tired of all these "found footage" / "shaky camera" movies (Blair Witch, Cloverfield, Paranormal Whatnot, ...). The novelty effect has worn off but the obnoxious camera work remains...

I probably wouldn't consider any of Mr. Night's movies to be horror, but that's just me...
