Mostly because there are actual animal killings featured on film. Even if it's not been banned in one particular country, a lot of them only offer the cut version. The new special addition (which I currently bought) has the option of watching the film without the animal cruelty scenes as well as the full, uncut version.
PR3SSUR3 wrote a brilliant piece on Cannibal Holocaust, which you can read in this thread.

i really dont like Deodato. Before i watched Jungle Holocaust, he was on screen saying..."i had nothing to do with the animal killing on this movie...i told them not to put it in there" sounds like a load of bullshit Last edited by The Mothman; 12-07-2006 at 08:33 AM. |

I haven't been very impressed with his work. I've got Bodycount and Cut and Run which were average as hell (I think my versions are cut tho).

The fact of the matter is there are alot of horror movies that are based on true events but have been changed so drastically that its laughable that people would even consider to make that claim!
