Faux Horror Trailer: A Video Poking A Little Fun At Stephen King's "Eyebrows"

Hi:

Like most people, I've read and/or watched some of Mr. King's more famous works, but after seeing a re-broadcast of the pilot of "Under The Dome" and subsequently viewing a few interviews online, I somehow got it into my head (a "dark obsession"??) to create a faux monster movie trailer starring one of the more (to me, at least) mesmerizing features of Mr. King:

His Eyebrows.

It's weird, I know, but-- I really can't explain it. It's just meant to be fun.

If anyone is interested in checking out the result (which clocks in at right around 2 minutes), here's the YouTube link:

Thanks, and

Enjoy!

Somewhat amusing. Fairly well done. I give it a 3 out of 5.

My grandfather has always been very self conscious about his eyebrows. If you wanted to make Mr. King cry, mission accomplished. Just kidding. Nice work. I'm sure you learned a lot of tech in the process.

I never even knew this was possible. If 6 decades of Maine winters haven't done it, I didn't think I had a shot.

Woo-hoo!

Good deduction - that single shot of his eyebrows laying waste to Manhattan took me about 1-2 hours (for a pretty amateurish result) and lasted all of 5 seconds on screen!

Thanks for the attaboy,

Todd

A very kind thing to say.

Thank you - you made my morning!

Or in this group, is it "mourning"...?

Potato/patatou, coffee or tea... actually, with 2013 internet, you'd usually add Teh Tarik (chi tea), sake, sugar cane juice, vodka, etc, but although there may be other country members I'm not aware of, it appears we only have US, UK, I'm sure Canada, and a least one Western European member. Not sure why we don't others here.

Even in the early 2000s my gaming forum group had active posters from US, Canada, UK, Argentina, Nederland, Brazil, Israel, Deutschland, Serbia and Turkey. Almost odd this site doesn't get more members from Asia and other places. Maybe native language sites are more prevalent now.

I was guessing his pun was of the color/colour (morning/mourning) variety, as in "is this group" US or UK?

"Mourning", as in "in the state of grieving a person's death"... I wasn't thinking of a reason he would make that pun reference... but now that I think about it, he probably was referencing the death of his video, self-deprecation humor that his video wasn't very good.

Maybe Todd can clear up why he made the "morning/mourning" reference. lol
