Hey man,

Let me first off say it's awesome that you did this as "Halloween" is by far one of the most enjoyable horror films of all time. So the fact you decided to make this is great in itself, and it isn't bad to say the least. I can tell you put some time into making this.

In specific I like how you incorporated the sex appeal since that is always appealing with horror films. The shot in clip 1 where you see Michael Myers through the window was very eerie and also a great use of that cliche voyeursitic feel, i.e. someone's being watched. I really like everything with your Michael Myers character actually and thought you did a great job whenever he killed someone.

I definitely noticed some things you could have done differently or improved upon. When you specified in clip 1 with an on-screen title that it was 12 hours earlier I feel like there should have been a transition there first and used during a different shot. Otherwise the time continuity doesn't match up since she's still in the moment. My biggest pet peeve was how often you use the zoom shot. It's good to use now and then when it's meaningful and you can get away with it but you did it way to often and the film begins to take on that kind of cheesy amateur video look, which I don't personally feel suits this movie. It definitely wasn't apart of the original. Although I think it's great that you added your own creative element. Also you definitely could have cut this down some more. There's a lot of shots where we see someone like the lead actress walking to the door, and then she's walking some more, and then finally gets there. You can cut a lot of that in-between stuff out and the movie will visually be much smoother. Another example is in clip 3 when the guy arrives in the car. We see him in the car, then we see him get out, then he walks up to the porch. The only other thing i'd say is look for people who can act as opposed to friends. Professionally trained actors like from a theater school for example would do much better.

All together great job and I appreciate you making this as any horror film fan should.
