Seeker: The Dark Rises

Yes, it's a childrens adventure, and yes I saw it with my sister, but I still liked it, even though I've watched it before.

Gonna see Gladiator tomorrow, hopefully...

"The Batman/Superman Movie: Worlds Finest" (1996)
-Kevin Conroy. Tim Daley

Plot: IMDB
Joker, short on money for his criminal endeavors, strikes a deal with Lex Luthor to kill Superman. Batman tracks Joker to Metropolis and alerts Superman to the Joker's plan. After initial distrust of each other, the World's Finest team up to thwart the villains by night. By day, Bruce Wayne and Clark Kent clash over the attention of Lois Lane.

Phantom's Review: The first of the modern era animated team-ups of Batman and Superman. A terrific film for fans. Wonderful animation, good story, plenty of action and the voice actors do a great job of bringing these characters to life. Very enjoyable.

I agree with you on the acting. It was either just god awful or extremely exaggerated, except for Rutger Hauer, who I thought was great. Cheesy one-liners....that's expected. I had no problems with the visuals, in fact, I actually enjoyed them. There were both good and bad characters, more bad IMO. I've heard a lot of criticism about "The Plague", but I thought they were a great addition. Overall, I thought it was a fantastic movie and I'm glad to add it to my collection, but I could see why some people didn't enjoy it. :)

Just watched Scream 4. I wasn't really impressed, the whole movie felt flat and recycled.

Bram Stoker's Dracula

Not the first time i've seen this but i liked it just as much largely due to Gary Oldman's performance as Dracula.

The Final Destination

The worst of the series. This was just terrible. The acting, the dialogue, the writing...its all bad. The movie focuses so much on the 3D and just completely ignores the story which is why i hate 3D movies. The deaths in this one are also really stupid and unrealistic and i know that the deaths are supposed to be over the top but in the others they always seemed plausible. In this one stuff happens for apparently no reason. This is the only one i havent liked. Hopefully the fifth will be better.

I agree...and the big build up was over...a fire in a mall cinema?
No atmosphere, and characters you didn't give a shit about one way or another.
I thought the third one was pretty bad too - but not THIS bad.

Last night I saw a 2008 french short film called "Dix".
One of the strangest things I've ever seen...I'd recommend it, if anyone can obtain a copy, not sure where you'd look for short films...

Exactly. I couldnt care less about the characters and that ending was pretty bad. These movies are just getting progressively worse. They're just like the Saw movies. All about the deaths and nothing else with each movie getting steadily worse...although i did think that Saw 7 was better then 4,5, and 6 but that's a different conversation all together.
