I actually found that movie to be incredibly... Dull and overrated... As though it couldn't decide whether it wanted to be Horror, Thriller, Ensemble, or Period Piece... I think it wanted to be a Period Piece... But the latter focus on Jake Gyllenhaal's disintegration toward the end made me think that maybe it was a psychological piece...? Maybe...?

Last night I watched The Station Agent.



Charming melancholic indie film about misanthropes finding each other.

...

WOW that description was pretty cheesy.

Anyway... It was nice, well-directed and quirky.

That's one thing it could have done better, but as we were following the press throughout the majority of the movie I guess it is hard to put across.
