Make Out With Violence (2008)

One of this week's Critic's Pick in the New York Times is the movie Make Out With Violence.

Description from IMDB:

Quote:
MAKE-OUT with VIOLENCE is a genre-bending tale of a boy trying to fulfill his unrequited love for a girl who has risen from the dead.

Thought that it might interest some people. When I read the synopsis, Dead Girl comes to mind, though, admittedly, I haven't seen that one either. And this one seems more innocent and whimsical instead of dark...

Has anyone seen this? Any good? Any takers? Thought I'd share the review. Zombies are so hot right now.

It sounds very art house film. That's neither a good nor a bad thing, but I have to be "in the mood" to watch one.

And Dead Girl wasn't as smart as it thought it was; it was all "shocking" premise and ho-hum film making. Make Out with Violence sounds like a much better film.

Agreed - Definitely sounds Art House and you're right; you really do have to be in the mood for that.

The reviews I've heard about Dead Girl are either that it's amazing or terrible... I'm still curious about it.
