The story also didn't make a lick of sense either. I will say that the acting and cinematography were great, but those were the only good things about this movie. Definitely don't recommend this unless you want a good laugh.

oh come on it wasnt that bad

I watched all 3 Punisher movies the last couple of days.
So I'll put the first one here too even though it's from the eighties.

The Punisher (1989)
Not perfect but I'd think this version's the best when it comes to capturing the essence of The Punisher. I'd say this is the best one but it might be for sentimental and nostalgic reasons.

The Punisher (2004)
Not a bad movie but I wouldn't say it's a good Punisher movie.
The cast seems out of place and the atmosphere feels wrong.
My least favorite.

Punisher: Warzone (2008)
Perhaps the best one or sharing number 1 with the 1989 version.
Lots of kills, brutal violence, some gore, dry humour, overal a good cast,...

Nightbreed (Director's Cut) (1990)
First viewing. Didn't know what to expect but was pleasantly surprised.
Some things look outdated but overal it still stands.
Would love to see a decent remake and/or sequels.

This is my favorite. Thomas Jane is The Punisher. Granted I haven't read or looked at the comic/graphic novels but the fight with the Russian accompanied by opera...is outstanding! : )

HARD CANDY (2006) Very intense cat and mouse film with two extremely unpleasant characters...to tell more would be unfair and you'll get the full impact coming in cold. Very good performances by Ellen Page and Patrick Wilson. ****

Nah, gotta go with Titus Pullo as the Punisher, he has the look and the attitude far more than the other 2. Warzone is my fave of the 3 films too but the Looney Bin Jim character almost ruins it.

I did like the Thomas Jane one but wished it stuck with having Ma Gnucci as the baddie ratherthan lame John Travolta. The Russian was done well though.

We saw The Babadook last night.

Big thumbs up!

The acting is excellent, and the story is very dark indeed.

Well, if you want a good laugh, I suppose it's alright for that.

I rewatched A Tale of Two Sisters, and I understand what happened now. That's some crazy stuff.

Also, was my post for Haunting in Connecticut 2 deleted?
