Lately, it's Rufus Sewell, for his role in "Dark City," and more recently his turn as vampire boss Adam in "Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter." He takes his work seriously and does a good job.

Most of my favourites have been mentioned already, but Max Von Sydow, Brad Dourif and Claude Rains have all put in some quality performances.

Max Von Sydow as Ming the Merciless is perhaps one of the greatest performances of our time!!.Hes so camp!!(as often the best villains are!)

I'll also add Thomas Kretschmann from The Stendhal Syndrome and Oliver Reed (the Devils, The Shuttered Room)
