Horror Film Based Comics

I've heard about comics being based on horror movie series like nightmare on elm street, friday the 13, halloween, puppet master...just to name a few. I was thinking of buying some, but I know next to nothing about them. I was woundering if anyone has read them and can tell me if they're any good.

Hey what up I'm new by the way................back to topic I recommend Ash vs Freddy vs Jason. If you're one of the few who have seen all the Jason, Freddy, and Evil dead movies then you'll love these two graphic novels. I don't want to give up the story but I think the story does a great job of incorporating all the stories. If you go back to see the Jason goes to Hell movie they even hint at all three characters coming together. I would also recommend the hellraiser series. I think I read Clive Barkers wants to end the series through graphic novels.
