evil dead/cabin fever

ok i recognized some similarities between these 2 movies

1.evil dead and cabin fever both have 5 kids drive out to a cabin
2.the 5 friends end up getting "infected" by soemthing
3.after the first girl gets "infected" they lock her up
evil dead-locked in basement cabin fever-locked in shed

did u see anymore similarities?

Scott wants to leave the Cabin in Evil Dead and is the only one who seems to have any sense and does not care about anyone else. The same goes for Joey Kern's character in Cabin Fever.

Rider Strong also goes through an Ash like transformation throughout the film and gets soaked in the red stuff.

Is it a good movie, though. Cabin Fever I mean, I own Evil Dead. It seems thats the only thing good I've heard about it was the plot and it was ripped off, ha ha! Doesn't that just sum up why I don't go see horror movies at the theatre anymore.

No, you're right I got it backward or something. What I said makes absolutely no sense.
