I rewatched it recently, it holds up well. You can tell it's from a novel, lot's a rich detail.

What do you think of the Rick Springfield song Woman?

hehe, no, it wasn't in Vision Quest. It was from Springfield's 1988 album Rock of Life album. Were you ever a Springfield fan?

The title track hit #22 on the charts.

I was impressed with "Woman"'s sound production and arrangement the most, but other good songs were Rock of Life, Honeymoon in Beirut, Soul to Soul and Dream in Colour.

Kind of for head bobbing dancing. Slowly on the first 4 mins, and then harder and the next 3 mins. What kind of dance do you do to it? Not really a typical fast dance or slow dance kind of song. = )

You have a good stereo system, Morn? Of something that plays some big bass when you want? Here's one to pump up loud. What do you think of this Cure song? I think it's dance. Fascination Street - Cure.

Talking about the writers of Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure, and a third film in pre-production, eventually lead me a cool song I never heard before: Christmas for the Free by Argent 1973. Kind of an upbeat rock ballad.
