Ok not sure what already made the official lists and wicker has already mentioned but off the top of my head I LOVE these-
Viy Jigoku Visitor q The Holy Mountain Frightmare (finally saw it amazing) Inferno Tenebrae Don't Deliver Us From Evil Hatchet For The Honeymoon The Monster Club Lisa and The Devil Black Sunday Night Of The Devils (1972 not seen the 1971 one yet) Witchfinder General Mark Of The Devil The Devils The Funhouse Eaten Alive (tobe hooper) Lifeforce In The Mouth Of Madness The Resurrected Dagon The Living Dead Girl The Lair Of The White Worm (guilty pleasure its quite trashy) The Burning Session 9 The Other I Walked With A Zombie Tombs Of The Blind Dead Night Of The Demon (50s one or trashy 80s one) Evil Aliens Curtains Shivers Dead Of Night Ghost Story (UK film) and probably many others.

Hope you both enjoy them-forgot to mention that there are two movies called Dead Of Night both great-the old forties british film and the 1977 american one (sometimes called Dead Of The Night). Oh and there's also one from 1974 usually known as Deathdream but also known as Dead Of Night-but I wasn't too keen on that one-although it was very spooky and atmospheric.

Deathdream fucking rules.
I've mentioned it about 10,000,000 times on here but Deranged (1974) is one I'd recommend. Stage Fright (1987) is one that seems to have slipped most people by. Alone In The Dark (1981) Jack Sholder is one of the genre's best directors. Criminally underutilised. Great how this one had a stalker in a hockey mask before Friday The 13th :D The Deadly Spawn (1983) One of the best monster flicks. Fully of trashy goodness. Trick Or Treat (1986) This one is a lot of fun and perhaps the best rock n' roll themed horror flicks. Patrick (1978) Franklin wasn't quite as an effective Hitchcock protégé as De Palma but I dig this one. Gotta throw some slashers in just because... Blood Rage (1983) The Mutilator (1985) Nightmare (1981) |

Great list Elvis..
I always find it weird that no one mentions Deathdream but Child shouldn't play with dead things gets all the hype. Have you seen Patrick 2 - its a fucking insane sleaze bucket of a film. |
