Let's talk inebriation.

I don't smoke weed very often, but when I do, I only really care for certain movies and music. What are your favorite bands and movies to watch when high?

Movies:

Death Proof
(Actually.... anything by Tarantino is great for this but Death Proof is flawless for it)

The Fifth Element

(lol)

Music

The Strokes
Black Rebel Motorcycle Club
Queens of the Stone Age

You?

I don't get high. When I get drunk, it doesn't matter because I just fall asleep.

I don't really get high (pisses me off, actually - for some reason marijuana has an opposite impact on me)...

And, LOL - HAMMER!! Yes, me too. :D

HOWEVER

When I get a little inebriated I seek "dumb comedies"

The following has seemed to fit the bill lately:
  • Step Brothers
  • The Other Guys
  • Role Models

Music:
  • Cheesy 80s (Journey, Foreigner, J. Geils Band, Bondie, etc.)
  • My Lady Gaga Pandora station

:o

I'm a sucker for "gritty" feeling music and movies I think. I just like the way it plays on your emotions without being in your face.

LOVE gritty movies and music, but just can't do it drunk... I lose my attention span and need quick, easy laughs to keep the buzz going. ;)

I like watching films like Hatchet so I can cheer and do little girly claps when people get hacked up .Films like Black dynamite and kung pow also appeal as im a daft drunk.
I did try to watch Munich whilst pissed once and fell asleep ~so the moral of the story is to keep things simple~ like my brain.

I will say I watched the Signal with a high hangover and it made me sick to my stomach. Not an ideal recovery movie.
