the one with Paul Walker? I do have to agree with that one, but it had substance. there was a lot of body to the story, the style wasnt overblown and either drove the plot along or complimented it nicely. Great twist at the end, buittoned up nicely.

If all of the "stylish action flick" subgenre were like it, i would like it a LOT more.

I liked all the above movies mentioned. They had no pretensions to be anything other then what they were....balls to the wall action movies.....and lots of fun.

I loved all three flicks mentioned: Crank, Running Scared, and Shoot Em Up.

They all have that feel to them where you know they knew it was cheesy in your face action that they didn't take themselves too seriously.

Crank 2 will probably be the same if they can pull it off.
