all of Maus.

and in From Hell, the scene of the final murder, where Gull is hallucinating. that scene is powerful. while From Hell normally gets second billing to Watchmen (as far as Alan Moore stuff goes), to me it's just as powerful. although that could be b/c I wasn't around reading comics when Watchmen first came out.

The end of the Preacher series. I was in awe.

I really like the scene in Bone where we find out why the Lord of the Locusts was looking for the one with the star on his chest. It was a good laugh.

Snow falling and night falling fast, oh fast
In a field I looked into going past,
And the ground almost covered smooth in snow,
But a few weeds and stubble showing last.

The woods around it have it--it is theirs.
All the animals are smothered in their lairs.
I am too absent-spirited to count;
The loneliness incluces me unawares.

And lonely as it is, that loneliness
Will be more lonely ere it will be less--
A blanker whiteness of benighted snow
With no expression, nothing to express.

They cannot scare me with their empty spaces
Between stars--on stars where no human race is.
I have it in me so much nearer home
To scare myself with my own desert places.

Desert Places--Robert Frost
