Dracula (1931) ...

I always enjoyed this one, and it seems to have gotten better over the years. Feels entirely different from the other Universal horror classics, definitely still has a foot in the door of silent films.

We actually watched the original THE WOLFMAN the other night. Amazing how well the production values still hold up. And great cast (though it's easier to believe that Chaney, Jr. turns into a wolf than that Claude Rains is his father).

That is a great, great film. Screened it the other night for a friend who had never heard of it, and we were both blown away. It does get richer and stranger with each viewing.
