Well I mean I've been keeping up with a fair few DC and Marvel titles, even though I just skim them.

I'm collecting and waiting for Bubba Ho-Tep to end so I can slay it all at once.

Same with Labyrinth - Coronation I'll say this sure has some beautiful covers...not even sure what the storyline is like yet, just that it's a "long ago" Jareth prequel of sorts. my love of the movie drove me to get this.

Speaking of amazing covers, I have to say the Sandman-Verse looks great. Not sure, again, about the content or if it'll have any staying power, but damn it's nice to look at. I've got all the titles on my pick list.

I'm glad to say I started reading something I'd dropped some time ago.
Nightwing.
Used to love the original run/s of the series set in Bludhaven.
I don't know. Somewhere along the line, new 52 maybe...it just stopped being interesting to me, and this whole "he's a spy now" arc was just horrible...
So basically all I saw of the character was across the Bat family titles.
Then the one thing happened that was needed to make the character interesting to me again.
He got shot in the head.
Now he can't remember his time as Nightwing, his associations with heroes/villains, and sadly, Alfred who is still trying to reach out to him.
He's now going by "Ric Grayson", the self destructive burnout barfly taxi driver, and at least at this point is not wanting to have anything to do with his "past life".
Though it seems muscle memory and reflex to fight is still all there ready to engage on on autopilot when of course, trouble finds him.
It's just...interesting for once...seeing the character with no ties to his former life, actually trying NOT to remember. I mean I'm sure it won't last, but it's a cool ride right now and good to see the character in this unfamiliar setting.
#50 is a good jumping on point for this new storyline.

Barnes and Noble have a buy 2 get 1 free on comic graphic novels. I'm going to see how much they discount them next week and might get some to read.

The Heckler.

It only ran for 6...episodes? is that the right word?

But it was so much quirky fun. Just as surreally satisfying as Grant Morrison's Doom Patrol at times.

Never read it personally. The word you're looking for is likely "issue/s"

THE COMPLETE CALVIN AND HOBBES-Bill Watterson. Mammoth sized volume (22.5 LBS!) that has the 10 year span. Always liked reading CAH in the paper, but it's been awhile since I've looked. Still cannot believe how FUNNY some of the strips were

"Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man" #1.
This one's a bit more "Peter" focussed, and wasn't a bad read. Some interesting stuff going on.
Some *very* interesting implications for those that read as far back as the "one more day" storyline. Classic deal with the devil shit going on here...and I'm hoping beyond hope that this potentially reverses certain things, but we'll see.

Grant Morrison's run on Green Lantern has been killer so far.
