There are an assload more than that.

Check out: The Phobia List

I can't think of what I am afraid of off the top of my head, as I haven't really been afraid of much lately... Except car accidents, since I was in one when I was 6... Being bitten by big dogs, also because it happened to me when I was young... Fear of Tablesaws, also because I was cut by one when I was little... Fear of failure (in society, for some reason)...

Um... yeah...

I'm typically not afraid of bugs, or heights, or tight spaces or anything "traditional"...

:-D

What a PHOBIA is

Make sure you understand what a "phobia" really is. Everybody has apprehensions about many things, but a true phobia is a totally irrational fear that is far, far beyond the actual threat of danger. It prevents you from functioning normally in a particular area.

For example, I have hydrophobia myself, and there is no way anyone will ever get me within ten feet of a large river or lake, or on anything on the ocean, or even in a pool more than about six feet deep. It just ain't gonna happen!

A person with cynophobia will literally become extremely anxious at the sight of even the smallest, friendliest dog...and so on.

althought its not really an irrational fear, it was developed over years of being barked at/chased/attacked by dogs.

"oh, its just being friendly, it wont bite you" the owner chearfully shouts as his mutt has me pinned up agast the wall.

it other people are allowed to walk around with a rabid beast on a bit of string then i shout be allowed to walk around with a crossbow
