Hello!

Hi everyone.

New here. Fan of just about all things related to horror, particularly films of 'vintage' horror (1960s and before).

I am a writer (essays, articles, reviews, a book to be published next year).

Looking forward to interacting with all of you!

Jim

Welcome and congratulations on the book. Is it horror?

It's a book that celebrates the authors and screenwriters behind twenty-one classic fantastic film adaptations.

While some well-known classics (Planet of the Apes, Psycho, Wizard of Oz, etc.) are covered, we (I co-authored) wanted to also shine a light on some films that that typically get less coverage (Don't Look Now, A Christmas Carol, The Body Snatcher, etc.)

Thanks for asking!

Jim

Hello, Jim!

Always good to meet a fellow writer. Your book sounds interesting. Might I ask when it's going to be released and where one may purchase it?

PS - I also greatly enjoy the 'vintage' horror films. As of this month, I plan on re-visiting some of the black and white Universal films. Those are some of my favorites. Although lately I've been more preoccupied with 50's monster flicks...

Hm. Having trouble with the 'Edit post' function, that explains my chopped up previous post. :(

There is no definitive publication date set yet. I've only been promised to date by end of June, 2020.

Will be available through the usual online channels (Amazon, etc.).
