I watched this when it first came out, and I hated it.

Maybe it's because I already had lowered expectations, or maybe it's because I'm more mature, but whatever the reason, I was blown away by this movie.

Beautifully shot, heartbreaking and very original. The duality between the main characters was a stroke of pure genius.

If you didnt like this movie, I very strongly suggest giving it another chance.

Eek. The only thing that's excellent about this film is it's animation. It's one, if not the most, preachy film I've seen in the past decade. We get it already... father, son, stop force-feeding it to us. I couldn't even finish it.

The Singing Detective (2003)

Well Ive never seen the original BBC version, but I found this to be pretty entertaining. Downey Jr. was fantastic.
