God

Just a short film that was on The Nines DVD, by the same writer/director. Pretty fun little short, about a woman who has a great relationship with God...only, that's meant to be taken literally. Very cute, and quite funny :)

I have a feeling he'll get more roles after Iron Man 2.

I dunno about that...I mean, I think he's already pretty cemented as an actor after some of his roles previous.

Step Brothers
there were some pretty funny parts, but most of the best parts were in the trailer.

The Ruins
better than i expected, still not great

Rise of the Footsoldier
bad and obvious Guy Ritchie ripoff.

I mean, they set up FvJ nicely with the ending of Jason Goes To Hell. But, its kinda hard to set it in the NOES series...with killing off Freddy for good in 6, then a sort of resurrection/eventual termination in New Nightmare. Nowhere is there even a hint of Jason...hmm.

Watched that a long time back on the good ole VCR. Good, fun flick.

Brotherhood of Blood (2008)

The story was nice with a little twist at the end but I think they needed 'little more budget' & effort to executed it properly. Even there were only 2 or 3 outdoor scenes, the whole movie almost based on the dialogs and less actions & gore than most other usual vampire flicks.

The Ruins - I remember a few members on here applauding this movie when it first came out. I now know why. Not a classic by any means, just a fun gorefest that keeps you on the edge of your seat. Only thing that kind of put me off is ol' girl getting away at the end.

The Last House On The Left - For years I'd been avoiding any and all discussions about this movie so that when I finally was able to watch it I'd have no idea what I'd be getting into. Well, this movie was nothing at all what I expected. Still unsure about what I thought of it. May watch it again sometime this week.

Goldfinger

Even better than From Russia With Love, IMO.

Auric is a badass villain - what a great plot!

I think its a great flick and is one of Craven's better efforts. David Hess is a great actor. I finally caught House On The Edge Of The Park and dug it a lot more than Last House On The Left. I still need to check out Hitch Hike.

Not to mention one of the best theme songs ever.
