Edgar Allen Poe

Does anyone like Poe's works?

I think they are fabulous (if a little odd). I was once so involved in one of his short stories I missed my stop on the underground (and no other author has ever come close to doing that to me before).

If you have read him - what are your favourites?

:)

Yes, The Cask of Amontillado is a classic, as well as The Tell-Tale Heart.

The Vincent Price/Roger Corman movie adaptation is quite good too.

I wont to have my baby, I wont to have my baby." susan said she looked Sharon straight in the eye and said "look, bitch, I dont care about you. I dont care if you are going to have a baby. You better be ready, You're going to die and I dont feel anything about it."
Then susan said "In a few minutes I killed her and she was dead"
After killing sharon susan noticed there was blood on her hand she tasted it. "wow what a trip" she told Virginia. "I thought to taste death, and yet give life."

If you like Poe, you'd probably dig "The Monk" by M.G. Lewis and "The House of the Seven Gables" by Nathanial Hawthorne.

My favorite Poe is Usher.
