Moon (2009)

I don't like to spoil it or give you a single clue...just saying: 'A must see for any true sci-fi lover!' Find in many reviews where they compared it with classics like 2001: A Space Odyssey, Blade Runner or Solaris. I'd say ignore this stupid comparisons...watch it with an open mind asap..you'll find a simple but very original and thought provoking beautiful sci-fi feature where Sam Rockwell delivered a fantastic one-man show!

Stag Night (2009)

Somewhat like Creep meets Wrong Turn.

Well, I finally wanted to watch more of David Lynch's films. All I had seen before was the Elephant Man which I really loved. So I posted on my facebook, what movies to check out by him and, the majority said check out all of his films. I decided to watch Eraserhead. Holy shit. That was great. I've never been so creeped out. I like the way it was shot and how there was very little dialogue.
I felt really bad for the baby though. That scene made me tear up.

I'm going to start watching the rest of his work now. I think the next on my list will be Lost Highway.

Van Diemens Land

This is the story of 8 escaped convicts in Tasmania during the 1820's. I didn't know much about the story before watching it which is probably the best way to go into it. It's a brutal movie with a few scenes that make you squirm. Worth checking out but not the best film of it's type.

7/10

You're in for it. Lynch's world is wonderful, nightmarish, and exciting.

Be sure to watch Twin Peaks the series before you watch Fire Walk With Me.

It's very good, but not his best. Don't expect anything on par with Eraserhead though.

1000 Convicts... and a Woman! (the story of a nymphomaniac)

Hilarious BRITISH exploitation flick from 1971. Much tamer than it sounds. Still, worth checking out for a laugh.

Newb- you'd like it. It's on demand currently- under "Drama."
