I got no idea who those people are
If they're actors, they'll probably get fined or fired if they use the word.
Wish someone would crash a recording, run through the set and yell
"Zombieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees!" from the top of his lungs.

On the days me wife and I watch the show; before it starts, I often jokingly call her saying "The boring dead is starting."

The show really became a snoozefest. However, I have to admit it has its moments, but those are becoming less and less each season.

This season finale was like chickens with guns running around shooting at each other. And leading to it a lot of staring and talking about nothingness. A total mess.

I like the comic better. Way better.

Then again I'll be watching next season. I always hope the show gets better. ;)

Got the DVD set on Saturday and wife and I are currently up to Third Disc, second Episode. While I'm liking it (Really intense opener), am finding there's too many people to keep up with, Negan is really too broad and find it hard to believe a badass like Rick could roll over and show his belly so easily. However, do like the King and Shiva (think my Black Cat could be her) and sure the action will amp up...let's hope.

Finished it this weekend and while it did get better, probably the least of the series so far. Kind of like DEXTER...thought the first five seasons were fantastic than a really weak next season that picked up. Hopefully Season 8 of TWD will get back to those past glories

Who's seen these last two eps for Season 9?

Ep 1 "A New Beginning" October 21, 2018

"Eighteen months after Negan's defeat, the various communities are working on rebuilding society, however, the Sanctuary suffers from infertile ground and underlying support for Negan. Rick leads a trek to a Washington, D.C. museum to recover pioneering supplies."

It wasn't a particularly exciting ep to start the season, that's for sure. It's setting the big picture, and it's interesting to see if "Carl's Way" can work in this environment over the Negan way.

Ep 2 "The Bridge" October 14, 2018

"the communities work together to repair the bridge"

This ep was relatively low key too. Nothing new or exciting. I mean I know it's Season 9 and all, but the day-to-day stuff here seems really mundane. At least they have a little Negan time at the end. They should have started with that in ep 1.

I watched a couple of episodes of the show and didn't really like it.

I think a zombie apocalypse works better in a movie or video game not a TV show.

It's really character driven, as you'd expect from a successful 9 season show, but at times during series the content and plot are riveting.

Which two eps did you see? Was it the first two of season one?

There's a lot of characters to digest in those early eps, but I think it does give you a flavor of the format. It really focuses pretty quick after the first few eps.

It's a cultural phenomena, which always has some extra value. And I know you like the genre in general. I might recommend you watch the entire 1st season just to see how it shapes up, and see if you like it, because it does change and focus after those first 2 eps.

Overall in the series, it fluctuates for sure as to how good it is at times. But I've been interested enough to see the whole series.

I don't really remember which episodes I saw but I remember bits and pieces of the scenes. One was about a group of survivors trying to turn an abandoned prison into a shelter and one I think was about a group of people trapped in a building trying to make it out of the city (I think it was Atlanta but I'm not sure) . There was also a black woman slicing zombies up with a katana which I thought looked so ridiculous, and one episode had a town of people protected from the zombies who were using them for fun and a female character was critisizing a man about how dangerous it is to play around with the zombies. There was also a scene with a redneck being racist to an Asian guy and later he had him captured like he was trying to torture him or something.

That's all I really remember about what I saw of the show.
