A Message To Young Men

I got stuck behind some kid on the road who got me to thinking about various really stupid things that boys in their late teens/early twenties seem to think will impress other people (vehicle related):

Monster wheels
Really large tailpipes (you don't really want me to make a joke about your oversized tailpipe do you?)
Testicles hanging off the trailer hitch (just let me get my trusty shears)
and most of all the EXTREMELY LOUD music. What is the purpose? To share it with everyone? If so it doesn't work; all I can hear is the bass which amounts to an annoying vibration. And please play something other than rap; can't you play metal at least?

If the purpose of doing these various things is to impress girls or prove your manhood it isn't working.

You're not the target audience.

I don't recall ever being impressed by such things even as a teenage girl.

Who is the target audience, young ladies or young men? Who is impressed by the features I described? If so, 1. What is wrong with you? 2. This might be up your alley:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PitGkp1ncXE

Both Wicker, it's to be "cool" so if a girl thinks it's cool you win, and of course you're looking for mad props from your boyz dawg.

I'm not impressed by loud engines or monster sound systems personally. To me it just signals that the guys is compensating for either a complete lack of personality or a tiny wiener.

yeah.....it's definitely a "guy" thing. Back in the day I'm sure I must have played my car stereo pretty loud.

of course it didn't have the same impact when "Freebird" was blaring as I passed by.

I find it pretty funny when you hear some real gansta rap blasting and it's this little geeky white boy driving.

I see your point. I despise these people who feel the need to shove their music down your throat. Just like dickheads who play tinny music from their phones on the bus. If you want to listen to your music then go ahead, but leave the rest of us in peace!

Maybe that's the worst part. The kid I saw today had a truck with monster wheels, rap music blaring; he gets out and it's this scrawny white boy in full golf attire dragging his clubs alongside him (I think he found them too heavy to put over his shoulder). These kids today...
