Hmmmm.....you're telling me I shouldn't be watching these movies....? What about all of those recommendations I would be ignoring.....shame....;) I fully intend to get to everything eventually....well, as much as possible, I am only one woman you know....lol.... But I admit, I'm lazy, I let other people do the detective work for me.

I'm too busy looking for older movies. Last Asian movie I watched was what... one of the Art of the Devil's? Maybe Ebola Syndrome...

I'm just semi-boycotting Asian films until I can find Ren she da zhan (Calamity of Snakes).

A Tale of Two Sisters-
I finally got around to watching this and i'm glad I did because it was magnificent. The delicate and intricate plot really was beautifully constructed, gently sweeping you along with the weaving storyline without letting you get a firm grasp on where you are heading. The gloomy interior of the Family household makes for a deeply eerie setting, and the subtle camera work really adds a sense of presence to the house. The score is expertly handled and placed to maximum effect, making you jump in some scenes while gently tugging at your senses in others. The performance of the actors was first rate,Su-Jeong Lim as the elder Sister and Jung-ah Yum as the Stepmother were outstanding while Kap-su Kim as the Father is worthy of recognition for a finely understated turn.Stunning.9.5/10

spot on summary there DP. i just finished azumi (8/10). it's as far away from a tale... as you can get but still very good. its action packed and easy on the eye. there are a lot worse ways to spend 128 mins
