Maniac is amazing. It's pretty gory, but I don't think I would call the gore excessive. It will probably make you squirm a few times, but you should enjoy it (the movie, not the squirming).

All I ever hear about this movie is that it has the best head explosion of all time, but I have yet to find it in any store :(.
