Honestly, I found myself pretty bored by it.
I like the comic, this, I did not.
The Joker was maybe the most bland version to ever make film.
Not for me.
Even watched the extended one - What happened to the Joker scene they marketed so much,
with him looking all messed up/burnt?
More cuts.

Plus the action was so bland and uninspired.

Excision (2012)
I.M.D.B.
A disturbed and delusional high school student with aspirations of a career in medicine goes to extremes to earn the approval of her controlling mother.

Odd little movie with an unexpected ending. Well made with decent performances. Wasn't a big fan of it though, although I can't say why without spoiling it.

Martyrs (2008)
I.M.D.B.
A young woman's quest for revenge against the people who kidnapped and tormented her as a child leads her and a friend, who is also a victim of child abuse, on a terrifying journey into a living hell of depravity.

First half of this movie was very good. I felt it went downhill in the second half to the point of ridiculousness (the violence rather than the plot).
7/10

Tunnel (2016)
I.M.D.B.
A man is on his way home when the poorly constructed tunnel he is driving through collapses, leaving him trapped.

Didn't take itself too seriously, which made it far more enjoyable than it could have been at a two hour run time. Doing so, however, sacrificed some of the harrowing ordeal of survival, so I felt it lacked a punch in that department.

Rewatched The Magnificent Seven last night. The new one not the original. It's a perfectly entertaining action movie. Had a lot of fun watching it.

Legend Of Tarzan was OK. Tarzan didn't act enough like Tarzan for my liking but it was decent. I really liked Margot Robbie as Jane!!

Also watched Miss Peregrines Home For Peculiar Children... Another OK movie. I love Eva Green but felt like she was very underused. Some of the ideas where quite fun. The plot was a little wonky in places and there just wasn't enough character development for my liking. However I still feel like it's one of the better Tim Burton movies of recent years.

A Christmas Horror Story

This was a lot better then i thought it was going to be. Two of the stories in particular were very good and only one of them i felt was boring and just didnt fit with the rest of the movie. It has a pretty good ending too.

Burning Bright (2010)
I.M.D.B.
A thriller centered on a young woman and her autistic little brother who are trapped in a house with a ravenous tiger during a hurricane.

The scenes with the tiger were surprisingly well done, considering it must have been a tough thing to shoot, but it was still extremely limited in what it could do and the movie suffered for it. And I know the autistic brother was supposed to be annoying, but it didn't stop me wanting him to be mauled to death. Briana Evigan runs around in very little though, so bonus points for that.

Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines (2003)

A cybernetic warrior from a post-apocalyptic future travels back in time to protect a 19-year old drifter and his future wife from a most advanced robotic assassin and to ensure they both survive a nuclear attack.
The film has a lot of exciting vehicle stunts and destruction (almost entirely non-CG). It's basically one long chase scene. I give it credit for being exciting... nicely shot, good effects, big budget.

Unfortunately, there's very little character exposition, nor social commentary, and therefore no worthwhile humor or relationships... something the first two films did, and did well.
