Taboo of young teens being offed in slashers?

As we all know for some reason out of all the things horror shows and pushes the boundaries of for some reason it seems offing young children especially females on screen. Idk the exact cut off for this but it seems to be around 15 or so. Though even it's decreased lately it's not uncommon and used to be expected to see teen 18-19-20s etc be offed but for some reason 15 down seems taboo and even more so with females.

The few I have seen on screen have been males for the most part completely having racked my brain I only came up with one on screen one for a female 15 and under that being Karen [9] being strangld in Alice sweet Alice which is an older movie. Had some real balls it was actually pretty graphic showing it on screen and then even showing her body being dragged off.

So I made this to see if anyone else knows of under 15s being offed on screen [no implied or mentioned stuff that happens all the time only on screen.] Any but especially females. Also bonus points for it being a slasher style offing not like a sorta thriller they got offed for plot moving but just a normal fodder offing like older teens etc and adults are used for list below.

Wer does. And there's a particularly gruesome seen involving the child.

For the most part I think its good there is not a lot of it. Its exploitation of children. People who are not, at least legally, capable of making good decisions in something like this. Part of the reason why parents need to be benevolent dictators. An actor who can make those decisions, but looks a lot younger can work. Like Dominique Swain in Lolita. I think she was 18 when they filmed it.

He said the film has to visually depict the slaying...

I know Frankenstein doesn't. In Jaws, I don't recall.

Yes, the trend in film has always been hands off kids. Otherwise good chance you lose the audience.

I haven't noticed a trend to younger, except for the "American Beauty" trend of sexualizing younger women in general; but strictly speaking, not children.

Like Angel said, even in 'acting' there's things child actors should not be exposed to, thinking of what I heard about Dakota Fanning.
