Honestly Bagul just wants a friend, someone with who he can watch movies and chill.

Good. That's what I like to hear. Even if it's not as good as the first, at least it will be entertaining.

I finally saw Sinister 2 and although I didn't think it was that bad. I think for some reason the people behind the movie did exactly the thing no one wanted to see for the sequel. Which is show and explain what was going on in the original movie. The quotes from the writer here:

http://www.cinemablend.com/new/Sinis...ays-74377.html

explain the disastrous method of thinking behind Sinister 2 that pretty much destroyed the chance of a Sinister 3.

And who thought it was a good idea to add the husband character? I mean I know the reasoning behind it. But still, nothing in the original movie is so stupid like that.

The abusive husband side plot was ridiculously over the top and unnecessary. I guess it gave her a reason to try to move out and further Baghuul's pattern, but it was executed so poorly.

I liked James Ransone in this. IMO he was the best thing about this movie. The rest was forgettable.

I thought it was just to have a victim. Something that wasn't needed in the original because it was so tense.
