The new Drinking Thread

I looked and looked for the old one, but I found nothing.....

So I'm starting a new one, simply because I love talking about beer and whiskey!

I got a bunch of these this afternoon, only 50p a bottle, Do you american folk drink it much?

I don't mind it, it reminds me of a few Australian beers, kind of like Tooheys extra Dry but not as crisp.

Drinking a Bass Ale right now:D

And I LOVE American Micro Brew Ales and Bitters like Wild Goose, Stone, Sprecher, Bert Grant, Anderson Valley, Bob Tupper, Harpoon, Mendocino and Rogue breweries. All great stuff.

As a highly educated beer nerd I can say without equivocation the America makes some of the best beers in the world (on par with England, Germany and Belgium) Please don't hold Bud, Miller or Coors against us...that shit is the byproduct of the post-prohibition industrialization of the beer business and a clear violation of what beer is supposed to be:

fresh, local and ever-changing
