Psychoville

Bizarre, British dark horror comedy - I've been watching it from Episode 1 on Comcast On Demand courtesy of Fearnet.

BBC Website: http://www.bbc.co.uk/psychoville/

I'm finding this incredibly entertaining and delightfully macabre - Has anyone else seen it?

I noticed it and considered checking it out. Haven't yet, though.

You should, and let me know what you think! It's unraveling slowly yet over-the-top like a dark soap opera - I think you'll like it.

I watched the first episode before my On Demand went all wonky (which it seems to do regularly) and really liked it. There were a couple of slow spots, but in general I found it very witty and well done. I really like the old lady with the baby, the clown, and the guy who lives with his mother. The old guy didn't seem to have much going on, but I suspect he'll get better.

I plan on watching more.

I just can't stop watching it - It turns into this macabre over-the-top soap opera in its own way... I wasn't necessarily sold after the first episode either, but it honestly just keeps getting more odd and definitely better. Can't wait to hear what you think of the next episodes!

Well, I've caught references to/parodies of It, Rope & The Omen. I'm sure more astute viewers can come up with more.

I didn't realize till after I'd watched all the episodes available that it was the two creators playing most of the main characters. They're that good!

And I knew I recognized the lady with the baby, but I didn't realize it was Dawn French! Even better!
