If you can't tell horror movies are one of my strongest passions. I love to collect them (and ,of course, watch them).

Fantastic film.

Amazon's newly-opened Indian site has been bringing out some wonderful promotional deals in recent times.

For e.g., The James Cameron Collection was available for as low as Rs. 327/- (that's less than $1.80 per DVD) a few days back. Delivery was free.

I bought it in the first week of August and it got delivered on 7th Aug. It's a Region 3 box set, containing the full extended, special edition versions of all 3 films. Since my original DVDs were getting old, now was the best time to replace them.

And I am glad I did when I did. The price's gone up again - http://www.amazon.in/gp/product/B005...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

The site's still in it's infancy though. Against ebay.in and flipkart.com, it's lagging far behind. I am eagerly awaiting the Kino/Criterion releases.

I have acquired the following horror films since the last update:

Note: DVD replacement means I had the film on VHS, but decided to replace it on DVD. Any film without this statement was not owned in any form before, unless otherwise stated.

Audition (Two-Disc Collector's Edition) (1999)
Mirrors (Unrated) (2008)
Mirrors 2 (Unrated- includes original Korean film too) (2010)
Rob Zombie's Halloween (2007) (Two-Disc Special Edition)
Sleepy Hollow (1999) (DVD replacement)
Thinner (DVD replacement)
It (DVD Replacement)
Silver Bullet (1985)
The Dead Zone (1983) (Collector's Edition)
Black X-Mas (2006) (Unrated)
Beetlejuice (20th Anniversary Deluxe Edition) (1988)
The Frankenstein Theory (2013)
Chernobyl Diaries (2012)
Amityville 4: The Evil Escapes (1989)

Left Behind: The Movie
Maximum Overdrive (1987)
I Still Know What You Did Last Summer (DVD replacement)
The X-Files: Fight the Future (DVD replacement)
The X-Files: I Want to Believe
The Mummy Returns (Two-Disc Deluxe Edition) (2001) (Yeah, I realize it is more of an action film, but I figured any movie with a mummy is basically a horror movie)

Horror T.V. Shows/Documentaries

Masters of Horror Season I Volume IV
Aliens, Abductions, and Extraordinary Sightings (A ten hour series of documentaries from Mills Creek on this topic. I do not really believe in this stuff, but I am sure it will be entertaining)
