Is anyone else stoked for this? TCM is doing this. I haven't seen these films in years. I'm excited to see these on the big screen.

Ditto. They should do this with all of the Universal Monsters. Make this a month-long shindig. :D

This would be an awesome double bill!! Two great classic iconic horror movies to be enjoyed by one and all. The last time my wife and I rented Dracula on DVD, we were slightly disappointed. For some reason we got a "remastered" copy, guess we should have known better. The musical score was "remastered", which is code for "the music contained within the movie will be so loud and distracting, that you won't be able to focus on anything else throughout the production".

Just be glad it's not this double-feature...http://www.amazon.com/Double-Feature.../dp/B005F6510I

Though, in fairness, these two are hardly the worst of re-makes.

I bought tickets online a few weeks back to a Turner Classic Movie event, but it's not Frankenstein/Dracula. It's Frankenstein/Bride Of Frankenstein double feature.

Can't wait for October 24th...really happy I get to take my Dad to it as well. He grew up watching them in the 50's so I think he's really going to love getting to see them on the big screen.
