They Live -
When I watch this movie it always seems to be relevant. I don't know why. People who have never seen it or haven't seen it in a while should watch it. Another classic Carpenter movie.

VAULT OF HORROR (1973). Amicus anthology that isn't as much fun as TALES FROM THE CRYPT or ASYLUM, but certainly not bad. My favorite story is the incredibly anal Terry-Thomas ("A place for everything and everything in it's place!) who drives his wife to extreme measures with his nitpicking. ***

Sleep? Pfft what's that. - The Boy Who Cried Werewolf Sooooo glad I was able to record this when it was on tv. It's one of my unappreciated werewolf favorites. The muzzle design was so well done and inspired, I'm surprised make-up artists weren't further influenced by it. Really a waste, but the movie has more going for it than just that. Like Bible thumping hippies!

THE TERMINATOR (1984) Wife and I saw this with our Best Man (a couple of months before tying the knot) and she literally chewed her nails to the quick. Despite the cheesy 80's fashion/music, still an incredible bad assed thrill ride with lots of actors I like. Worth seeing again and again. ****1/2
