Welcome a fan and a writer
I've just joined and hope to be able to contribute in several ways... I'm a lifelong SF and Horror fan, both books and media, and hava an extensive collection of great horror and mystery novels, plus horror/SF videos and DVDs.
I'm also a writer with 1 book published thus far, a non-horror modern day private detective thriller. The 2nd book of the series is nearing completion. I've written several horror short stories and screenplays, none yet optioned but there's still hope. My background is in science (biology and analytical chemistry) plus oil and gas engineering consultancy, so I have a heavy background in hard science. Favorite SF/horror writers are Roger Zelazny, Fritz Leiber, Stevie King, Bradbury and others. Fave movies are 2001, Blade Runner, Alien, and Carpenter's The Thing. Literature outside horror includes Shakespeare, and James Joyce's Ulysses. Let's chat horror...
